Meet Jen 

I live in Pleasanton with my husband Keith, and three boys Ryley, Tyler, and Kyle. My boys have attended PUSD schools including Hearst, PMS, and Foothill.  I actively volunteer in the PUSD school community, I am a current PPIE board member, while also serving as the vice-chair of the Superintendent's Budget Advisory Committee. I have held many leadership roles within the school PTA's including treasurer for 3+ years, and president at multiple school sites, while also chairing large fundraisers and school social events. 

I was previously a PUSD employee, working as the administrative secretary to the principal at Hearst, taking care of the school site budget, and individual teacher budget, while also managing the day-to-day organization of the school.  

Drawing from my roles as a parent, former employee of PUSD, and dedicated PTA leader, I am confident that my perspective and expertise would significantly enhance the quality of education in Pleasanton. Moreover, my passion for contributing to our school community stems from a firm belief that nurturing our schools and empowering our youth is paramount to securing Pleasanton's prosperous future.

As your school board representative, I look forward to balancing the needs of parents, the budget, teachers, and our administration to ensure our students receive a top-notch education. I will work hard to ensure school safety, fiscal responsibility, and teacher retention and provide clear communication with our community. Our schools have challenges, but also opportunities. We have to work together to make a difference.
